yes. If you wait too long to get a cavity filled, then it can infect other parts of your body and cause you to die. For instance, I saw this on the news and one boy never went to the dentist in his life and he was like 12. He had a bad cavity and it went to his head. Yup that's right I said it.His HEAD. So if you have a cavity and you've had it a while, get it fixed ASAP. If you just got it don't sweat it. It takes a while for them to erupt and you'll probably have an appointment coming up. Yes- cavities do affect your health. The bacteria released from the rotten teeth or cavities leak throughout the blood stream. For many people it may never result in any pain or discomfort but for many others they have a weakened heart- to the point where one could have 10% usage of their heart or a poisoned stomach lining. All due to the bacteria leaked into the body from the cavities.

Cavities are linked to Heart disease, digestive problems and / or dementia.

The immune system breaks down and makes the chances of getting sick greater.

yes !because your teeth can get infected and you will have to pull out your teeth. ohh that would hurt. I know because it happen to me. I think this because ur teeth can fall out. u will look like a grandma/or grandpa

Yes they do. They're pockets of infection that can go systemic and effect your entire health picture.
