Well they can't tell when as in an exact time of day, but they can roughly put an estimate on the certain couple of days you smoked. This is true unless your are tested by a hair sample. Then they can only tell about what couple of months you smoked. no they cant its a lie they can only tell when it was by estimate and that's only from a blood test

Follicle drug tests are mainly used by employers with a zero tolerance for drug use because it's the least intrusive method of drug testing and it's also commonly used by parents. Because the human body sheds lots of hair, your parents could take hair samples from your comb, pillow, etc, and have it sent to a lab for drug testing without you even suspecting it.

∙ 14y agono it determines if you have have used drugs and then put stuff in your suitcase to go on holiday. If you go to Australia they have a drugdetector, they use a little white cloth and rub it on your suitcase and then put it in a machine that heats the bit of cloth then if it beeps it comes up with a drug that you have on/in your bag. Then they take t away to be x -rayed then if they see something that does not look right they have the right to look in your suitcase and try to find what they are looking for.

∙ 11y agoNo. It can tell every drug you've used in a certain amount of time. The general hair follicle test goes back 6 months, but they can test to see what drugs you've used anywhere from the last three months up to a year. There's no way to fool a hair follicle test since they take the sample directly from your head at the time of the test. So if you've done drugs in the last year and are getting a hair follicle test done you're screwed. But rest assured, the hair follicle test is the most expensive, so most places generally do a urine sample. Although some will do a mouth swab because it is even cheaper than a urine analysis.
