Elephants don't have fur exactly but they do have hair, because they are mammals and all mammals have hair. It doesn't look obvious but if you look at the skin closely you can see the hair. Like a pig's, it is sparse and coarse.

An elephant has small hairs all over it's skin. This includes the inside of it's nose (or trunk.) The trunk can hold about 3 liters of water.

They do have a slight bit of hair, however, mainly have skin showing.
