Maybe because one of my books about fairies says they will die if you say they don't exist or their not real.

Fairies like "Tinker Bell" are part of "fairy stories". Fairy Stories are fictional creations and the characters are not real. Therefore I am sorry to say that "Fairies" are not real, they are imaginary beings and it is impossible for a real person to become one.

i think they are real but there could be a positive chance that they are not but just for now shall we say they are real because i think they are anyway if you don't belive in them they are not real to you if you belive them they are real to you i belive in them because when i was younger i was talking to my pet fairy and she left all glitter on my hand and i was on my own

There is no evidence that fairies actually exist. If there were a reliable method for "getting in touch" with one, then there would be evidence that fairies actually exist. So at the least it's possible to say with certainty that there is no such method... even in the extremely unlikely event that fairies really do exist.
