no it will kill another male for domanancy Yes, the male will most likely kill the female. This is not always true, though. When mating they will be vicous (in most cases) but not kill each other. Any other time it is not ideal to stick a male and female betta together.

∙ 13y agomore likely the male will kill the female! that's what happened to my female! luckly we had another tank to put her in and saved her in time! They are very territorial the only time you should put them together is if you are mating them! Hope this helps (:

This is not true. I have had 3 female bettas in a tank together. Females DO NOT kill each other. Only males do. Ask your pet store.

∙ 13y agoYes they will . They fight due to territory having an intruder . If you want a female betta to get pregnant , you should put them in a separate tank so they will not have any territory . After the female have her eggs , put the male and the female back into their original tank (separate) . Hope that I have helped!
