Our company is hosting a Free Family Film Festival this summer. It starts June 19, 2012. Our festival is a way to give back to the community for those families who can't afford going to the movies due to the high pricing of our tickets and items. As a few people may know, we, the staff, do not choose our pricing schemes for any of our items. It is all from the corporate office. As much as people get angry at us for these prices, we try to show the community that we do care about our patrons and their families by having these events every summer. Why not go to the movies with your family on a hot, summer day for free? It is not only for rep that we do this, because at the end of the day, we have families too who can't afford to have a good time. We are all one family if we look at it in a positive way. Why not give a hand to those in need?

The Romans had festivals of some sort just about every day. However many of these festivals were minor or in honor of a personal god which the families celebrated privately. The major public festivals were many and encompassed various activities. Some of them are: Saturnalia, Floralia, Lupercalia, Parentalia, Matronia, Ludi Romani, Done Dea, and Opalia. The list is longer. Type "Roman festivals" in your browser and you will get a more comprehensive list from several sites.
Nepal has many colourful festivles, such as fagu purnima or holi; dashain, tihar etc. These festivals are the times when the LARGE families get together and share love and care. You will enjoy Holi, the festival of colours!!!
Festivals help you keep your culture and traditions by reminding you of them. Also the ceremonies and rituals that occur around them are reminders of your heritage, and help to keep it in the front of your mind.
