They are very community minded (Amish community). They help each other with many things, like farming and building their houses. If disaster or illness trikes one of the families, the community pitches in to help out.

Lots of festivals
Common social events for Western families included gatherings such as family reunions, holiday celebrations like Thanksgiving and Christmas, and community events like barbecues or festivals. Additionally, milestones such as weddings, birthdays, and graduations often brought families together for celebrations. These events served as opportunities for bonding, sharing traditions, and strengthening social ties within the family and the community.
Festivals typically appeal most to diverse groups, including young adults and families seeking entertainment and community engagement. They attract individuals looking for cultural experiences, live music, food, and social interaction. Additionally, niche festivals can draw specific audiences based on interests, such as art, food, or specific cultural traditions. Overall, festivals create opportunities for connection and enjoyment across various demographics.

Our company is hosting a Free Family Film Festival this summer. It starts June 19, 2012. Our festival is a way to give back to the community for those families who can't afford going to the movies due to the high pricing of our tickets and items. As a few people may know, we, the staff, do not choose our pricing schemes for any of our items. It is all from the corporate office. As much as people get angry at us for these prices, we try to show the community that we do care about our patrons and their families by having these events every summer. Why not go to the movies with your family on a hot, summer day for free? It is not only for rep that we do this, because at the end of the day, we have families too who can't afford to have a good time. We are all one family if we look at it in a positive way. Why not give a hand to those in need?-RCMAnswer:The festivals written in the Torah help the families of those who observe them in these ways:They give the family time off from work to be calm and relaxed. They bring the family together at the festive meals, strengthening the family bonds.By observing the festivals, the family is engaged in handing down the Jewish national traditions from the parents to the children, giving the children a feeling of identity and community. The joyous occasions and observance of the festivals (Passover, Shavuoth, Succoth) encourages optimism and happiness. The festival prayers and Torah-readings encourage reverence.
