Beacuause they are smal and even us humans have small lungs compared to our bodys
ANS2:They have a low metabolism and they supplement the lung capacity by respiring through their skin.Yes, frogs can hear with their lungs. But, it is not the only way they can hear. Frogs have an ear drum, similar to humans, called tympanum. The tympanum is the oval shaped structure behind each eye of a frog. It is a thin membrane surrounded by a cartilage ring. When this vibrates, a rod connecting the outer tympanum to the inner tympanum transmits the sound waves into the fluid of the inner ear. Which in turn, transmits the sound waves to the hair cells lining the inner ear.
Frogs hear with their lungs by means of an air duct that connects the lungs to the tympanum. When the oscillating air pressure hits the lungs, the lungs in turn transmit that energy to the tympanum; where the process starts all over again.
Okay, so if you have ever seen a frog they have air packets under there face. When the air packets fill up it helps them breath. I just found that out not to long ago.
camel
they breathe wit there balls ;D
yes
no theyre an amphibian
on land , frogs breathe with the help of lungs , and in water , with the help of gills.
Actually frogs dont breathe from their lungs. They have lungs but they don't use them because their skin is so thin that they can breathe from it.
Frogs have lungs just like you do. Tadpoles, however, have internal gills until they turn into frogs. Frogs breathe by pulsing their throat to suck air into and out of their lungs.
Frogs OK PEOPLE! WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT FROGS ARE NOT REPTILES!! THEYRE AMPHIBIANS!!
I would think they breathe with there mouth underwater.
Most frogs have lungs, but their are lungless frogs. They can also breath thru their skin.
With lungs
Although tadpoles breathe from gills, the gills start to disappear and lungs start to form in the frog's body. So that means that frogs breathe through lungs.(So does toads)
Their Answer: They breathe with their lungs because they live on land!!!!!!!!!!!! My Answer: They actually breathe through their skin, and the skin must be kept moist or it dies. That is why frogs die if you put common table salt on it. Also, most frogs live in ponds and streams, and not on land.
