Does a straight person desire to be gay or lesbian? Gays and lesbians may desire to be accepted like straight people are, but if they didn't want to be homosexual ultimately they wouldn't be.
some gay people may desire to be straight as to impress or please family, after time they will realise that people should accept them for who they are, they will then be much more passionate in there sex and will not care if they are teased and bullied.

∙ 6y agoProbably in the life of most gay people there was a time when they wished they were straight, because it's not easy to to be gay. It's doubtful anyone would choose it if it were an option. But today, gay people are more accepting of themselves than they were in the past, and for many it seems like a non-issue.
