Normally, yes. 'It' happens (should happen) every month. Except if a girl is pregnant.
When a girl gets her period for the first times it can be irregular, but that's normal. Her body still has to get used to the change and produce the right amount of hormones.
The period can be a little irregular, actually it's a cycle of 28 days, so it's never exactly a month until the next one. It normally takes 5 days for a period to be 'over'. Sometimes it can skip a month, but only if the girl is really stressed.
If it suddenly stops, for no apparent reason (no pregnancy or menopause [when a full grown woman, mostly around 45-50, stops getting her period]) there is definitely something wrong. She should go to the doctor then.
I hope I could help.
Yes...it happens all the time!
Menstrual cycles vary from woman to woman. Typically, they are around 28 days...so, say you have your period on the 1st of the month. If you're "typical" and your peiod is regular, you will have it again on the 29th of the same month (or somewhere close to this). However, like I said it varies for each individual, as does the length of the period itself. Some women have it for just two days or so, and others a full week or more.
But it's definitely possible. I have it happen quite often...and I hate it!
Yes at sometime or another all girls will eventually get there period. It just takes some more time especially if they are active. Some girls that play sports will not get theirs at all while they are active. If your nervous about it then it would be a good idea to talk to your parents or school nurse. You still can get pregnant even if you haven't had an actual period so be safe.
Do you mean girls under 10?? >>> Girls under 10 may have a period but that just means they are starting puberty earlier then others also when they start their menopause they will probably start it before girls who start their period at 13+
It is completely different for everyone. It can be at any time of the month

Yes, all girls have periods. If you skip your period you are probably pregnant. Periods tell you that you are not pregnant.
Periods have nothing to do with sexual orientation. Lesbians are just as capable of menstruating as straight girls.
