Do girls have bad bad periods?

Don't be scared. Girls can get their periods anytime from ages 8 - 15. Just relax, because all girls get it! Carry pads with you (don't use tampons at first) and an extra pair of underwear. If you can, go to the bathroom every so often if you feel like you're getting it. Go to the nurse or a trusted adult. All girls will understand. Never feel embarressed, because you shouldn't. :) Periods can be painful. Some people cramp, others get headaches. You can use a heating pad or ice pack if you're at home. At school, you might want to see your nurse for a pain medication. Good luck!

Hello its me, kutekat215.

I had my first period when I was 13 I think.

Its ok, dont be embarrassed.

One time, I went to school and it was really overflowing

and guess what? It juss HAD to be the time I didnt bring

any pads with me to school that day.

Well, its not like Im juss gonna stay like that..

what if it goes through my underwear and to my pants?

And everyone saw that? Now I think THATS embarrassing..

I remember when I first Had it, I wasnt used to it.. so I walked funny

And my friends could all tell that I had my period because they had it before I did..

Anyways, so that day, when I didnt bring any pads. I knew I had to go to the office and ask the nurse for some pads.. They werent even surprised or anything.. So I guess alot of people go to the nurse for pads.

I have to say, it IS disgusting.. I made a mess.. it took a long time in the restroom.. Anyways, right when I came out of the restroom, my friend was waiting outside.. and we both thought the same thing "Why are you here?" Oh course she said "You have period too?" and I said "Yeah" So then she went to the restroom and did her stuff..

One advice, DO NOT EAT/DRINK COLD STUFF WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR PERIOD. Its very bad for ur health and you are easier to get stomachaches.
