How do you clean out the tank if there is goldfish eggs in there?

Well, first, your eggs should be in a separate tank from all the other fish, ok? Then, when you clean the tank with the goldfish eggs, I usually never clean out the water completely. I usually just dump out 25% of the water and replace it with clean water. I'm sure no harm to the goldfish eggs will be done if you do partial water changes, and partial water changes are all you ever will need. However, if you REALLY need to clean out the tank completely, usually goldfish lay their eggs on aquatic plants or objects. If you move the plant or the object to another little tank or a safe place while you clean out the tank, I'm sure there will be no problem. When your done, just replace the plant/object into the finished tank.

Do you need to keep goldfish water clean for them to have babies?

Keeping the water clean in your goldfish aquarium will not only make your fish more likely to spawn but will also greatly improve the health of your fish and any potential fry, so yes you should keep your goldfish's water clean for them to spawn.

It depends on the goldfish.. For ones that stay small you should have at least 10 gallons.. The bigger the goldfish gets the more water it needs. Those one and two gallon bowls do not cut it..

Do you just leave pregnant goldfish have babies on there own?

Goldfish are not livebearers so they do not become "pregnant" exactly. If you want her to have living young she will have to be around a male goldfish who is showing breeding "tubercules" so he can fertilize the eggs she lays. The eggs will stick to decorations. Goldfish do not care for their young at all- in fact they eat them! So if you want the baby goldfish to survive you will have to move the parents- not the eggs! into a sepperate enclosure. The eggs will soon hatch into fry if in the right water conditions. After the eggs hatch they are now fry. The fry will need to feed on cultered live brine shrimp.

Will goldfish lay eggs in a fish blow?

Goldfish need to mature before they can lay eggs and they can get pretty large (6" or more). By the time they are large enough, they have outgrown a fish bowl. So technically, the answer is no. You will need large goldfish in a large tank before you can breed them.

Can goldfish live in untapped water?

If by "untapped" you mean water that has not come through the reticulation system and has been obtained from other sources, the answer would depend upon what the source was and the parameters and constituents of the water. Goldfish need good clean unadulterated water as do most other living things but I would guess that if you can confidently drink the water then the goldfish may be OK living in it.

What kind of water does the Goldfish have to have Salt Water or just Clean Water?

It just needs to be clean I don't know if a goldfish can even live in salt water. I always put the ones I've had in tap water that set out for a day or two I don't know wye it needed to sit out for a couple of days before putting the fish in it but that's how my mom always did it so I figured it was probably for a good reason. I actually had one goldfish that lived for like 4 or 5 years that's a long time for a goldfish. Goldfish need to be kept in fresh water, they are not made to live in salt water. preferably, keep them in spring or kangen water. By the way, you mom left the water out for a day or two to get it to be room temperature. Goldfish need to live in water the temperature of 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
