As a great dane owner myself and an experienced animal worker, I would have to say that great danes make eccelent pets. They get along great with other animals, but are generally very shy. However, all animals are different, which may result in the occasional mismatch. With my experience with great danes, there is one thing you should know. They are very shy to other animals (but get along) and are very quick to love. They are sometimes nicknamed the verlcro dogs because as you pet them they lean into you. What I would recomend is looking at this website. It shows great danes that need adoption, and it also tells if they are good with other animals or not. Also, take a look on petfinder. They give a lot of info too. Heres the website: http://www.magdrl.org/
Great Danes tend to be very friendly toward one another. That said, any dog that is not properly socialized to other dogs may be dangerous around another strange dog. Great care should always be taken in introducing any dog to another.
It depends on the Beagle. Great Danes are social, gentle dogs that usually get along well with other dogs. Beagles can be aggressive.
As a Great Dane owner I think that they are excellent with other dogs - as long as they are properly socialized when they are young and are treated with love and respect at home.
Yes. Danes are extremely friendly and gentle dogs.
German Shephard dogs are domesticated animals living in homes. German Shephards are fine in small areas as long as they have a great amount of time to exercise. :)
German Shepherd. Great Danes are just bigger.
Germany. They were originally called German Mastiffs.
Great Danes and German Shepard's have basically the same amount of strength. They just have different unique qualities, both are very good dogs though!
I'll name just a few... Rottweilers, Leonbergers, Dobermenn, Great Danes and German Shepards.
Almost any two breeds if properly socialized and introduced the correct way can get along. Labs and danes are well known for their happy attitudes and should do well together.
the dog itself is a Great Dane. Plural (more than one) it is Great Danes.
i consider myself an expert on dogs and to the best of my great knowlage great danes where not used to hunt tigers but were used to hunt lions they were taken over to the African continent by the German 1st Reich at roughly 1910
no because, the great danes are much bigger than the poodles
It depends on their personality. Like snake may befriend its breakfast! (I've seen that before.)
Alsation or a German shepherd, but poodles can grow to a big size sometimes. But overall, alsation and German shepherd.
Yes, both my male and female great danes catch and fetch frisbees.
