No, they don't.
....
There are some exceptions. If you don't wash your hands before handling your guinea pig, it could contract a disease from you and get sick.
Also, if a guinea pig is already sick and you handle it, its health will get worse.
none because hamsters are smaller than guinea pigs
Yes they do. All animals need vets especially when they are sick and ill.
They don't. Usually. The only reason I can think of is if they get sick with the flu. I have a friend and all of her guinea pigs have had 2 healthy litters.
Yes , all guinea pigs are different. They vary in personality , looks and in intelligence. No two guinea pigs are the same.
GUinea pigs aren't found in the wild anymore. All guinea pigs are domesticated.
all animals including guinea pigs can get cancer
No. Guinea Pigs can not have powerade. The only drink that guinea pigs are allowed to have is water. Any other drinks (especially Powerade, Gatorade, ...etc...) could potentially make them sick and/or kill them. I would highly recommend getting the book "Guinea Pigs (Animal Planet Pet Care Library) " which can be found at your local PetSmart or Petco. It will tell you all about keeping your Guinea Pig safe and healthy.
Unlike cats or dogs, guinea pigs cannot tell if you sick. There brains are so small all they know what to do is find food, run, and find a shelter. (other guinea pigs CAN do many other things- but in my opion, this is my anwser. )
Like all animals, guinea pigs are in the Eukaryota domain.
