hamsters do take care of their young... try not to touch them as it might change e smell...

the mother hamster will eat their young if its unwell or e smell changes....

only if it has been a mother before and has taken care of her babies but once a hamster gives birth for the first time you have to remove the mom or she could hurt or even eat them
