Of course they do!!!!!
^Up there! not mine and WRONGGG!!! They only hurt if you push them into your hand or if they curl up for defense.
They're not murderers! They're cute, cuddly, little hamsters with spikes. :)
NO. Hedgehogs are insectivores and will not kill a chicken under any circumstances. Chickens usually roost off the ground so to start with, a hedgehog could not reach the roosting chicken when it is at it most vulnerable even if it wanted to. Hedgehogs are also much smaller than a chicken and far slower than any bird of any species, no, your chickens have nothing to worry about when there are hedgehogs about. Actually, depending on the ecosystem and the abundance of food hedgehogs in the wild do indeed adapt to eat groudnesting bird eggs and their vulnerable young. If a chicken coop is placed in a biome where the hedgehogs traditional foodsources are depleted your chicks in the coop could very well be wiped out in one encounter. One would suggest a secure hedgehog barrier to protect the young at night when they are confined and most vulnerable.
Yes. one difference though, hedgehogs dont spitout their spikes like poqupines do. they just roll into a ball and roll around. they also do it in play too, but you can tell if they are playing or not.
One unless it is a female with babies. Hedgehogs are a solitary species.
the 'X' or "Y" button. it usually pick up another weapon if you are standing over another one, the Purple gun with the spikes is the best!
While there are different insects with spikes on their heads, beetles are one which have horn like spikes on their head.
