I own one horse that can and one horse that cant. I dont understand how he gets us home but he does. we have went on several mountain hiking trips and we get lost( my horse has never been there before) I just lay down the reins and he takes us back to camp. He takes us back a different way than we came and i am talking miles and miles away. I just dont get it. But I feel safe with him because I get lost very easily.
