The answer to this is a definite NO, especially since I worked for 20 years either delivering the babies or taking care of them in the nursery. Generally speaking, the eyes are dark - so a dark blue/grey or brown. I have seen golden or light brown eyes in a newborn. Brown-eyed babies are not born with blue eyes. I'm not talking about babies who will develope hazel eyes over time - that's a whole other kettle of colors - but if you are brown-eyed, you're born with them brown.
