If it's a full, unrestricted license, you won't have to retest.
If over a year then you should because the laws can change.
No, Kentucky has no grace period for renewing a drivers license. If the license is not renewed by the last day it is valid, you can still get your license, but you have to take the written test again.
First, you have to be a resident of Connecticut. After that, you have to start from square one again.
A cancelled license means you will have to go to court, and possibly will never drive AGAIN. When it's cancelled, you will have to go to court, and only they can give it back.
No, if you lose a license and get a replacement, you are required to destroy the one that was reported as lost if it is found again.
State laws may vary, but in Kentucky if you lost or allowed a drivers license from another state to expire, you have to take the written test and the eye exam to get a license in Kentucky. You also have to provide proof of identity, such as your social security card, and have a document from the state where your license was issued. Also, if your Kentucky drivers license expires even for one day, you have to retake the written test again.
If you've misplaced your license, then you need to obtain a duplicate. If your drivers license was suspended, you are expected to stay out of the drivers seat until you are able to get your license again.
Not unless you have allowed your license to expire and there has been a passage of time before you applied again. If it's strictly a matter of renewing and updating your currently valid license, no.
Part of my Question, I recently finally passed my drivers test after which I had to go bad with in the next 4 to 6 weeks to collect my drivers license card, but when I returned to collect it I couldn't because apparently my photo was not send with issue of the license by CPF & on that day that I was there just to find out I did all for nothing they could not take the photo again to reissue because systems where offline. But I do not live in or near the area where I did my test so now to go back again is out of my way. So, I'd like to know if it is possible for me to go to a different but closer license department?
it used to be 6 months but i was told (not sure if this is true) that if you do not get your license before october you will have to have it for 9 months (once again that was just a rumor i heard i would love if that was wrong)
You would have to meet the criteria for reinstatement of your Indiana license, including any reinstatement fees, before you'd be eligible to have a license again. It may be possible that you could slip through the cracks and get a license in Kentucky if there's been any length of time since the suspension went into effect - however, if you were caught driving in Indiana while the suspension on your Indiana license is still active, it would be treated as you driving on a suspended license. This is because when a state suspends your license, they also suspend your driving privilege in that state, meaning you're prohibited from driving in that state on ANY license.
try it again and again until it works or if it does not work at that point then your screwed so get the hell out of where ever you are and find another method and try it again Explain that you have no other means of payment, show them your drivers license so they can have positive identification and tell them that you need to make arrangements to pay them on a later date. They may ask you to sign an agreement or they might hold onto your license...It isn't as if the problem is that rare. You might also consider asking a friend of family member to pay the bill. They can call their credit card in or they can do a wire transfer.
