iridium plugs are made to last 100,000 miles
In my opinion you can not beat the oem Ac Delco iridium plugs. I have ran in to problems with most all other plugs in these.
About $100 for iridium plugs, and wires for the 6.0L V8 engine.
NGK Iridium spark plugs are fine for your 1996 Honda Accord.
spark plugs that are not hot enough will yield poor performance. recommend ngk iridium plugs(laser platinum works the best) they will burn hot enough to give you the performance you need.
120000 miles with original iridium plugs.
Standard plugs are about a $1.50. Platinum plugs are about $4 and iridium plugs are about $7.
No. Toyota plugs need the 2 prongs. Iridiums only have one prong which will not work. Try Bosch if you'd like.
Maybe, but I would not use anything other than original equipment spark plugs in this engine. They are engineering specifically for the 4Runner and they work very well. I don't think you will notice any improvement with iridium plugs, and they may cause problems. They also cost a lot more than original equipment plugs. There are cases of non-original equipment plugs causing problems in these engines.
AC Delco Iridium spark plugs.
If it is an 4 cylinder engine, the spark plugs are directly on top,of the engine. if you'll look, you'll see, little black boxes, that has screws in them, remove the screws, and wiggle the box, while pulling upward, and their will be a long funnel shaped piece that you pull out, when it comes out, look down in that hole, and you'll find the spark plugs.(most tracker spark plugs is an laser iridium spark plug, they must be replaced with laser iridium plugs in ordewr for the engine to run)
All iridium plugs never need gapping because they are 10 times harder than a platinum plug.
