Knuckles is slower than Sonic, Metal Sonic was designed to immitate Sonic's abilities and Shadow is as fast as Sonic because he is the Ultimate Life Form, so in other words the best at everything, supposedly.

to put it bluntly... because even though he doesn't nessisarily like rouge... he's a good guy who'll do the right thing almost always :)

well we all know every thing seems absorbed to shadow and Amy she just tries to make sonic happy.But if Sega disused to make rouge and knuckles go out then shadow will be spending time alone.Amy would be very sad about sonic leaving her but its not he hasn't already.so the trurth is Amy and shadow have no asosheastion witheachother what so ever.so could happen

You have to have the genesis game called "Sonic and Knuckles". This cartridge is special because it allows another cartridge to be placed on top of it. You place "Sonic 3" on top of "Sonic and Knuckles" and you get to play as Knuckles. Same goes with "Sonic 2".
