It depends on how strong your relationship was when you were together. There are couples who do survive this. If you trust each other now, there is no reason this relationship can't continue. The key is to be in contact every couple of days for 2 - 3 weeks, then every 5 - 6 days. Never quit contacting each other over that 5 - 6 day period. If either of you have a chance try to get to visit each other once a month or every 2 - 3 months. Good luck Marcy I really feel that they can work...you just have to be willing to put forth a lot more effort than if he or she lived right down the road. So, just be willing to put forth some $$ towards the long distance calls. If you are truly in love with the person, then things should work out.
