When should male Siamese fighters be taken away from the babies?

Bettas are very territorial when it comes to other Bettas. Once the fry are free swimming and capable of looking after themselves, they (or he) need to be moved otherwise the male will give up trying to round them up and put them back into his nest. He will look upon them as intruders or food and will eat them.

Can betas live with guppy's?

No. Male bettas can be kept in community aquariums, but should not be kept with fish that look anything like they do, or are small enough to eat. A male betta will mistake a guppy for another betta and kill it. Female bettas, however, can be kept with other "betta-like" fish without a problem.

Why do male Bettas like to be separated?

They can eat eachother. Male Bettas like to be seprated because 1.a male might be annoying another male 2.I tried it back then while I was a bigginer and one almost got killed 3.only put them together if you want them to be killed. Male Bettas are teritoral. They get mad when they see other male bettas and want to challenge theam to a fight. But, a good way to get your bettas confidence up is to put a mirrior next to the tank. That way, they see theam selves. get all pufedd up and attack. But no attack back. So, remove the mirrior after 30 min. or so.
