heat, many people die in the desert. not that many places cold enough to kill u from the cold itself. and most people dont know what to do in the heat.
excessive cold
Drowning in cold water, so both?
Some plants are adapted to cold temperatures and survival through snow and frost; others plants that originate in more temperate areas are not able to withstand snow or frost and will die. Plants which normally grow in cold climates have mechanisms as well as chemical "anti-freeze" to prevent them being damaged or killed in cold weather
the cold climate in Alaska affects it's people because since it is mostly cold, some people might catch hypothermia (a disease) and die. It also doesn't permit some types of plant life to exist their because of it's freezing temperatures.
A fly's activity level is seriously affected by cold weather. It becomes much less active and if the cold temperatures continue, the fly will eventually die.
a drunk person might more easily die from cold exposure than a sober person because alcohol acts as a vasodilator which slows down the blood flow through the body.
bacterium can survive in extreme temperatures. except at temperatures to hot they die immediatly. at temperatures to cold they go into isolation and are inactive. at a warm humid climate it is the best situation for a bacterium.
The effect of extreme hot and cold weather on plants would be negative. This is because the cells can not function during these temperatures causing cells to die.
Hamsters can survive harsh cold & hot environments but will freeze to death at subzero temperatures. I don't think any hamster could last long in temperatures 100 degrees or higher
if you get really cold than your blood freezes and you will die because no blood goes to your heart and you die.
Sea Monkeys will do best when the temperature is from 75-80 F, but can withstand temperatures from 65 to 85 F.
the grasshopper is in the arthropod phylum.
