Yes. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the 'Mormon' church) believe in the account of Jesus as recorded in the King James Version of The Bible. They believe that Jesus was crucified and laid in a tomb, then rose from the dead on the third day, appeared to his disciples several times, and then ascended into heaven. This is essential to God's plan and meant that Jesus had the power over death and can therefore give mankind resurrection and eternal life. Mormons also believe that following Jesus' ascension, He appeared to those living on the American continent. This visit is the focal point of the Book of Mormon.

Well, Mormons do not believe in "Joseph Smith and not Jesus". Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. They believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that we must accept Him as our Savior to be saved. Mormons believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet, just like Moses, Abraham, or Isaiah. He in no way replaces Jesus Christ, nor is he an equal of Jesus. Joseph Smith was simply a representative of Christ on the earth. Most religions, even Christian religions, have some sort of earthy leader or founder, whether living or dead. This is not unique to Mormonism. Most who know anything of Mormonism understand that the belief in Joseph Smith as a prophet is what sets Mormons apart from the rest of Christianity.
Christians believe in Christ's miraculous birth and resurrection from the grave.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) ARE Christians. The difference is that they are a Restorationist Christian movement, while most who consider themselves Christians are from Protestant movements. Both groups believe the Bible is the word of God and believe that salvation comes only in and through the grace of Jesus Christ. However, they differ on many doctrinal points. 'Mormons' believe that there is other scripture in addition to the Bible. They believe that true Christianity had to be restored to the earth by Jesus Christ himself, not reformed from Catholicism. They believe that God still speaks to His people through prophets. They do not believe in the trinity, but believe that The Father, Son and Spirit are separate beings united in purpose. 'Mormons' believe that all people lived with God before their coming to earth. They believe that all people must be given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before their judgment - for this reason they perform baptisms in behalf of their dead ancestors, to give them the opportunity to accept Christ. Yes. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) believe in the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament. They typically use the King James Version of the Bible. Church leaders have said that the Crucifixion and Resurrection are the two most important events in the history of the world. The Crucifixion satisfied justice and made it possible for all who come to Christ to be saved, and the Resurrection conquored death and made it possible for all men to live again in the Kingdom of God. I am a 13 year old boy and a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and yes we are called Mormon and yes we are still Christian. (different user answer) I consider myself Christian, but for some reason, Mormons are repeatedly accused of not being Christians. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that he is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I believe that salvation can only come through Him. I read the New Testament and believe it to be true scripture. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, worked many mighty miracles in this life, suffered for the sins of this world, died upon the cross, and more importantly, rose from the dead and lives again. I believe that followers of Christ strive to live each day as Christ would, i.e. make the same decisions Christ would make in their situation. This is what has been taught to me by the church and my parents. It is something I have come to believe through prayer. If this doesn't make me a "christian" then so be it.

Yes. If your belief is not strong enough then you will only be resurrected as much as you believe.Mormon View:No. Mormons believe that everyone, believers and non-believers, will be fully resurrected after the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Everyone who has ever lived will rise from the dead and their spirits will receive perfected bodies before the Final Judgement. The difference is in when they will be resurrected. It is believed that the most righteous will be resurrected first.
