Some people get cell phones at a younger age, i had a cell phone since 5th grade. but there was a reason why i got one so young. Its because my dad got surgery and if he ever needed me he could call me and i would be there no matter if im in the middle of something.so yes some people get their cell phones in 6th or 7th grade
