Muslims don't baptise their children- baptising is strictly Catholic/ Christian.

However, Muslims do have a ceremony for their children called Aqiqah. During this ceremony, the parents of the child sacrafice a lamb or a goat to the Almighty Allah, to thank Him for the gift of a child. Usually, if it's a boy, two lambs or goats may be sacrificed, and if it's a girl, usually only one.

The baby is shaved. All hair of the baby's head must be shaved off and it must be weighed. The weight of the hair can be equivalent to how much gold or money the parent/s gives to charity. Also, they name the child during this ceremony.

Answer:

Baptism, as it is called by Chritianity, was always simply a cleansing prior to entering the faith, or a washing before prayers (as Jesus himself is recorded as doing).

So in Islam, when a person finally finds the truth and wants to accept it, then it is recommended that he or she takes a bath before coming to the mosque to declare that there is only One God, and Muhammad is His Final Messenger.

Other than that, we are also required to wash before prayers.
