Because this is in the US Constitution section, I'm going to assume you're referring to the United States. Yes, any income earned in the US (or it's territories), is taxable by the Federal Government. If the state the income was earned in taxes income, it will be taxable there as well.
british citizen
A citizen assembly is a meeting of the citizens to consider and vote on matters put before them by a council.
If you were born in the US, or your parents were US citizens at the time you were born, OR they became US citizens while you were living with them in the US before you were 18, then you're a US citizen. If not, then no.Well, unless you go through the naturalization process yourself. But if you did this, you'd know you were a US citizen and wouldn't need to be asking.
No, we were called by our state e.g. citizen of South Australia, citizen of New South Wales. Until we were united as one country we were called citizens of Australia
Naturalization is the process of making noncitizens American citizens. Many immigrants wait years before they are able to become a citizen.
Would-be citizens had to appear before their tribal assembly and prove their descent in that tribe.
It is important because they are trying to become American citizens and part of that is agreeing to the laws of this country and knowing the expectations of being a good citizen. They are doing this so that they are no longer immigrants, but citizens who have the same rights and expectations as any other citizen. I don't really think that learning "the nation's values" is important, considering that this country has no values that are legally required or appointed and I doubt that this is actually part of the process of becoming a citizen. What you may be saying here is the expectations of this person as an American, which is important because they will be under the same expectations as everyone else. Basically, the process of becoming a citizen is to help you know what others expect of you here and what is legal for you to do and for others to do to you.
Yes. A British citizen needs a visa before arrival for Saudi Arabia.
Yes, someone born in Hawaii before 1959 is a US citizen. Anyone born after April 30, 1900 in Hawaii are native-born citizens of the US.
The 14th amendment says that if you are born in the US you are a citizen. Beforethis amendment slaves born in the US were not citizens. Slavery was allowed by the original US Constitution but was not part of any amendment. Also, children born in the United States to citizens of other countries would not automatically be US citizens before this amendment was ratified.
Tax exemptions can be made for citizens 65 and older.
Legally, they're not allowed. Call the ICE or cops, see what they can do.
