No, otherwise you'd have to replace the entire wall! It is condition, not the age, that matters.

Youneed remove all flaking and loose material, including mortar, re-pointing where necessary. Very severely-weathered or broken bricks may need replacing, but generally you need only remove any loose surfacematerial.
