In the wild/ nature some orchids do actually grow on other plants.
Orchids are are epiphytes, and have aerial root systems through which they absorb oxygen, water and nutrients; these roots (in most cases) are above ground.
Orchards often are found clinging to the sides of trees in tropical and sub-tropical jungles, where they can be seen "growing on other plants". This is in fact a one sided relationship, the orchid using the plant to gain access to light (higher in the forest canopy), the roots only hold onto the bark of the host tree, they do not feed or derive any nutrition from the host plant.
There is also a group of "terrestrial" orchids, which have roots which are anchored into the soil (like normal plants).
Orchids grow in fur bark or a special mix for orchids which is found in your local nursery or hardware store.

It is both. Flowers are plants, not all plants are flowers though.
bromeliads, lianas, orchids, carnivorous plants hope i helped
This could mean two things, either the plant is growing on a host plant simply for some advantage such are access to light (such as with many orchid species). In this relationship neither plant is harmed. Or, it could mean that one plant is parasitising another in order to derive nutrition - such as the case of the Dodder and Mistletoe plants
These scraps are transformed into compost. Compost can add nutrients to help other plants grow.
Parasites. Plants such as Mistletoe ( Viscum album) grow on other plants.
orchids and bark that's all i got

Bromeliads which grow on the branches of many tropical trees, Air Plants, Mistletoe, Spanish Moss, some species of fern and Seaweeds and I'm sure there are many more.
In these hot humid climates, there are a great number of epiphyte plants such as Spanish moss, orchids and staghorn ferns----that grow on other plants... THATS ALL I GOT TO ANSWER! "D
yes i think orchids are unisex plants
Plants such as ferns, mosses, epiphytes (orchids, bromeliads etc.), vines and climbers as well as a range of parasitic plants
Martinique has a wide variety of plant life. Some of the plants which grow there are mangroves, orchids, ferns, and morning glories.
Some types are Denobrium, Phaleanopsis, Brassia, and Princess Mikasa
Orchids and mistletoe.the plants are liverleaf, orchids, mistletoe
Orchids, Bromeliads, moss, roots, and wooden vines. Even though there are some plants growing in trees many also grow in the understory and some that grow in the water.
Many plants which are called epiphytes grow on tree trunks. They are adapted to grow there as orchids , lichens etc.
