In the alveoli Alveolus (also called air sac) is the capillary-rich sac in the lungs where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place by diffusion. The oxygen poor blood goes from the right ventricle and into the lungs where the co2 is traded for Oxygen in the alveoli and back through the heart and out to the body.

The correct term is alveoli. but they are referred to as sacs, and that is where the exchange of gases take place

What is the common purpose of respiratory and circulatory system?

The common purpose of the respiratory and circulatory systems are bringing oxygen into the body for cellular processes, and bringing carbon dioxide waste out of the body. The circulatory system has many other functions as well.

How does the respiratory and circulatory system work together in a frog?

The respiratory and circulatory systems work together as a unit to exchange gases between body cells and the environment

How is the respiratory system connected to two other body systems?

The respiratory system is connected to the circulatory system at the alveoli, where oxygen and carbon dioxide diffuse across the thin membrane between the two systems. The physical connection between the respiratory system and the digestive system occurs at the oropharynx, which carries both air and food.

What systems share the responsibility of supplying cells of the body with oxygen and disposing of carbon dioxide?

The blood (circulatory system) carries oxygen to your lungs (respiratory system). Oxygen binds to the hemoglobin molecule in your blood and is carried back to the heart, then pumped out to the other parts of the body.

How do the diseases in respiratory and circulatory systems begin to develop?

What system does the circulatory system work with to obtain oxygen for the body?

The circulatory and respiratory systems work together to get oxygen to cells. Oxygen transfers from the respiratory to the circulatory system at the capillaries surrounding the alveoli.
