  • Yes, peers can impact your personality: Example: If you are in school and really want to fit into a group that may be cruel to others; gossip and are generally extremely immature then you will lose part of who you are if you have to change to fit in with this group. Then there are your peers that make for good friendships and you can learn a lot from each other and build on your character. Once out of school and in college or the workplace you now have the tools to decide how to handle the negative peer pressure and the positive peers you choose to hang around with.
