Why Runescape is not being played so much anymore?
Runescape is not played so much anymore because since the last few years there were too many botters, they would train their skills and stop other players from training. For example woodcutting was hardly possible because there were many botters not leaving trees around. And the second reason why this game is not played anymore is because there was and maybe still is a big security issue. Your account would get hacked even if you had the best anti virus and no viruses . Runescape was and maybe still is in low on security. Millions of accounts got hacked and trillions of gold were taken out and transfered to other accounts people therefore stopped playing because jagex would not replace the gold and no body wanted to replace 100 mill gold again because they have all-ready worked hard on it. The third reason is because the experience rate is very low, it is not decent. you can spend weeks trying to level up your combat level, many people also dislike the quests because they are never straight forward its something you had to figure out yourself. Many of the players have moved on to World of Warcraft because it is almost the same as Runescape without these problems.

Jagex can do nothing about it because it is a legitamite website that sells accounts.If some1 is caught sellnig or buying a account while on runescape then they will be in big trouble.

That's because there in no Learning the Ropes quest. Unstable Foundation is not on Tutorial Island so why should it be ther for no reason?
