Some people don't, some people do, but most people don't care about it much.
Genetically modified food is food that is changed by man in a very specific way at the cellular level. This is different from the way we have been modifying food characteristics for a couple of hundred years by breeding to get specific characteristics.
But 'love' is a tough standard. Genetically modified foods generally do not taste different from non-Genetically modified foods. Nor do they cook differently or produce much waste differently. The big differences from deliberate breeding are in the laboratory and not in the barn yard.
Your moms
GM food can be found at some of your local markets and at any time of the year but before you buy it i would like to let you know that GM foods can cause allergic reactions and can be poisinous.
i WAS HERE
Because the company which controls most GM foods will not allow independent testing of their products.
YES
Many people are opposed to eating Genetically Modified (GM) foods, including GM crops, because they feel that inadequate research has been done into the long-term health effects of eating these foods. The root of these concerns is that some GMOs have genetic material from sources that people wouldn't generally want associated with their food; one common addition is that of genes from poisonous plants or animals to create chemicals that kill pest insects. There are also people who oppose GM foods because of the perception that they are unnatural. With trends of growing popularity of natural foods, the thought of eating something designed in a lab is less appealing to a growing number of people. There is also a perception by many people that the GM foods will have taste or texture that differ significantly and unpleasantly from the unmodified varieties.
1994 - the FlavrSavr transgenic tomato was legalised by the US to be commercially sold. After that, a lot of GM foods were legalised
Genetically modified(GM)organisms are those organisms whose DNA, or genetic material has been altered through modern biotechnology whereas GM foods are those from genetically engineered crops.

gm foods are made by scientists in a laboratory by mixing genes and chromosomes. hope this was useful :)
No, GMO foods are not cheaper than conventional foods.
