Definitely, although not nearly to the extent they did back in the 1930s and 1940s. There are many radio stations and internet sites that broadcast swing and big band music, high schools sponsor "stage bands" that play swing, and many local and national orchestras play swing for dances and live audiences. Several of the major orchestras of that time continue to perform today, of course with new leaders and musicians but playing the music of their founders. To name just a few:
> Tommy Dorsey
> Gene Krupa
> Artie Shaw
Modern swing bands have been formed by people such as Gary Tole, Brian Setzer, and George Gee among many others.

Many people world wide listen to classical music. The classical compositions are a welcomed change of pace from the popular music of today. Of course there is no language barrier to classical music. Thus many people still listen to the composers of classical music such as Mozart and Beethoven.

Everyone listened to music on the radio. People also listened to music on vinyl records. You can still buy vinyls today.
Because they like it. And still? People are still listening to classical music and that has been around for hundreds of years. Rap is not a fad that will go away.
Yes. music is an influence on everyone in some way or another. Young people in gangs are still people like ones who arent. that is not true a person can listen to music and it will not change them in any way that's like saying if u listen to country it will make you a cowgirl or boy
You need to see someone
They like the music and it is good music.
Certainly ... just because someone dies, doesn't necessarily mean that their music is never played or heard again. We all listen to JS Bach, and he's been dead for about 260 years!
People still use am radios to listen to am radio station channels on the go. There are still a lot of people who would much rather use an actual radio than using a cell phone for music.
People from India were brought to Fiji during the late 1800s and early 1900s by the British to work on the sugar cane plantations there, and the immigrants brought Hindi, Gujrati, and Punjabi traditions and music. The majority listen Bollywood music, while some still prefer folk music, which is like Polynesian music.
