Do pioneer 3way 6x9 speakers fit in the rear doors of a 2002 accord coupe?
2006 Accord Coupe: Front doors - 6.5" speakers, Rear deck - 6"x9" speakers
The Honda Accord Coupe built in 1999 has 6.5 inch speakers in the front doors. These speakers have a depth of 2.9 inches depending on the exact interior package purchased.
6.5 for both the front doors and rear deck
The covers on the side doors should pop off. i believe underneath on the speakers themselves its a 3-screw pattern.
Front doors: 6 1/2" Back: 6" x 9"
All mechanic parts are interchangeable. Of course the doors & rear fenders are not.
The only front dash speakers in a 2001 Accord EX are the tweeters. They simply pry out, and you can cut the wires to disable them and then put some really awesome Pioneer 6 1/2" 3-ways in the doors. It was an improvement! However, once you have your tweeters out, you can see the size they are and how to replace them as you see fit. The doors really aren't that hard to get apart, and the factory door speakers are woefully inadequate. Whatever you decide to do, good luck, have fun, happy Honda motoring, and Rock on!! Oh, and be sure to install your new speakers in phase.
Coupe has 2 doors. Sedan has 4 doors. A sedan can have 2 or 4 doors as long as it has a "B" pillar also known as a post.
5.25" in the doors.
Yes.
I have 6 speakers. 2 on the dash 2 on the front doors and 2 on the rear doors. I have a 1997 Honda Accord EX Wagon. You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, I got them from Amazon for 16 bucks but you save a lot of time and you don't mess the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.
i have a 98 reg cab and i have stock 6x9 and put the same back in. i put pioneer in. and if its a quad cab i think its 5.25 in the back doors.
