yes almost every plants still grows even it is night it include in their process of growth because growing doesnt stop when it is already night still the plants reacts to the environment they are in because if plant stop growing when night falls come then by now i guess we dont have any plant they will die it's just like breathing when you stop beathing you will die. so the plant it doesnt mean that when it's dark it's stops it's process of growth no still it is growing
No, it doesn't. It requires sunlight for photosynthesis. There is no "opposite of photosynthesis" that requires darkness.
