No. Newborn kittens do not have venom in their claws. There are a number of real and unreal reasons for people to believe that kittens have venom in their claws: * Some people are allergic to cats and may have associated the claw touch with the reaction. * Claws come into contact with a number of things (including the litter box) - a scratch may get infected as a result and seem like "poison." * Some parents don't want their younger children to play with the kittens, so they tell them that their claws have venom to keep them away.

It depends on the size comparison. If the claws are big and the tail is smaller in comparison then the venom from the scorpion isn't that deadly and the claws are worse . However if the claws are small and the tail looks chunky then the venom is more than likely deadly which means the sting is worse. So it all depends on the comparison between the claws and the tail.

First, scorpions don't bite. They either a) sting you with their tails or b) kill you with their claws. The rule of thumb is that a scorpion with a thick tail in relation to it's pedipalps (pincers) is dangerous while scorpion with a thin tail in relation to it's pedipalps is not dangerous.
