Best Answer

Polar bears attack humans only if they feel threatened by them and if they starve.

They feed mainly on ringed seals and bearded seals. Depending upon their location, they also eat harp and hooded seals and scavenge on carcasses of beluga whales, walruses, Narwhals, and bowhead whales, other marine mammals, reindeer, small rodents, sea birds, ducks, fish, eggs, vegetation (including kelp), berries, and human garbage.

Answer

You may look like a tasty morsel if you are out by yourself without protection. Definitely keep your distance.

Themselves - no. Auto-cannibalism is not a successful concept.

Polar bears do sometimes eat OTHER polar bears though.

Males are quite known to kill and eat the cubs of other males.
