In general, no.
The White House is primarily protected by the Secret Service, who most would consider non-law enforcement, as they do not fall under the Department of Justice.
Most are white collar (those that work in office buildings and do not get their hands dirty at work).

what would my work enviornment, or surrondings,be like to be a police officer
It is mostly in the offices.
It depends your unit.
When the police officer returns to the house after putting the burglar in the car, I believe you have to get one sim to talk to the police officer while another sim opens the car and lets out the burglar. It won't work unless you distract the police officer.
you will help pepole dont let no one put a hand on them and be a nice and good police officer !
Both. Your 'everyday' police officer is probably an employee of your municipality, county, or state, but federal agents (e.g.: FBI - ATF - ICE - etc) and certain uniformed forces (e.g.: US Park Police - White House Police - US Capitol Police - etc) work for the federal government.
sure
In Ca there is no limit to how many hours a police officer can work, they are exempt and can work as much as they want.
It depends on what you are referring to, however, in general, a non-police officer can work for or represent a polie agency, as long as that particular agency allows it.
DOD is Department of Defense. DOD Police are civilian police assigned to work on DOD installations.
