The real poppers called Amyl Nitrite, a legal medicine used in severe cases of angina to relieve pain and also a great sexual stimulant, have been used for decades with no known side effects - including problems with vision. Since it was taken off the market believing (incorrectly) it may have caused AIDS and replaced with chemicals like Isopropol Nitrite and Butyl Nitrite, many people using these products do complain of headaches and sore eyes, blurred vision, contact dermatitis on the nose where bottle contact is made, etc. So unless you can get the real Canadian made Amyl Nitrite poppers (sometimes referred to as Pentyl Nitrite) stay away from the other crap.
