nope they sure don't, actually they have double locked doors and your depending on the guard not getting hurt in a crash to let you out .
They have changed to be more comfortable with heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. They have changed to be more efficient in fuel consumption and more safety features to protect riders. Buses used to only have doors for emergency exit. Now more windows can be pushed out safely for use as emergency exits,
