Prokaryotes do not have membrane-bound organelles like the mitochondria. Prokaryotes also don't have a nucleus, chloroplasts, golgi apparatus or an endoplasmic reticulum.

Well, according to s Google search I made, most do. Some have lost theirs through evolution.They have mitochondria for respiration.Only few of them lack
