That would depend on how long you had the dog before the separation. If you had a long history with the dog before the separation, then yes the dog would remember you. If you had only known the dog for a short time (days, weeks, or a month or two) then the dog would probably not remember you.

Puppys need to be with their mother for 8 weeks before parting. If you give a very good loving home to the puppy then it wont miss its mother. It may miss it's mother for the first week or so but then it will get used to its new surroundings.

Yes, they sure can, it has actually been proven that after several years of separation, they are able to remember their mother and brothers and sisters. scientists did a study on a 2yr old collie, a 6yr old black lab, and a 10yr old poodle about ten years ago and they found that all three dog's attitude changed after being reunited with their mothers that they had not seen since birth. dogs have a wonderful memory. the same study was done on dogs being reunited with people that they held special bonds with and all dogs in the study remembered their previous owners or families they had been fostered by. they remember people they truly loved and treated them right, and they remember people who treated badly. all dogs acted differently toward the various people who owned them. some of them got terrified and others got very cheerful. so obviously the ones that they hid from, abused them and vice versa. scientists say that they never forget scents, of people, places and things that had a big affect in their lives, pretty crazy huh? dogs are awesome I love them all dearly.

After removal from the litter, a puppy will pine for its mother and litter mates but will soon forget about them once it has settled into its new life. Typically a puppy is not whelped around the sire, so it would have no memory of the dad.

If you had to give your dog away will it remember you when you go to visit it?

It might remember you if it was not long ago when you gave it away.

If you had a dog and gave it away if you went back would it remember you?

Yes and no. If you went back after a short while, the dog would still recognize you by sight as well as by scent. But after a year or more, the dog would not remember you as a person or recognize you on sight, but it would remember your scent and it would still know that it was a 'good' and familiar scent. Dogs live very much in the here and now: if they don't see or smell you, you are out of their thoughts.

How do you train a 3-year-old boxer that is not a house dog not to run away?

You cannot train a 3-year old boxer that is not a house dog not to run away. Dogs chase things, it is instinct for them. You have to provide the dog with a secure yard that it cannot get out of in order to keep the dog safe.

Can your 7 year old dog get your 4 year old dog pregnant?

If your 7 year old dog is an unneutered male and your four year old dog is an unspayed female, the answer is a definite yes. Getting one of them "fixed" as well as carefully keeping females that are in season away from males that have not been neutered or otherwise made sterile, will prevent a pregnancy.
