No they can't, my daughter saw one at a pet show and touched the quills. She said they cannot hurt you.
Yes, they are dangerous to humans because their quills are sharp as shark teeth. And the quills are too sharp to touch. If you touch one quill your hand will bleed. Seriously touch one quill then your hand will get hurt. If you say that you touch the quill by a finger it will hurt too. Stay away from them. Oh, and 1 more thing, if you ever fell onto a porcupine then you will be dead. Seriously.
yes they do
No.
They will hurt like hell, so yes, they are dangerous.
they probably come out with the quills there but not sharp or sticking out as to they will not hurt the mothers soft belly, but a time goes by, they harden, sharpen, and sticking out when their mother will leave him soon.
Their quills are like a human's hairs. They grow in their skin and removing one could cause slight discomfort for them, but not severe pain.
some animals are accustomed to the cactus so it doesnt hurt them.
The only time that a hedgehogs quills can hurt is if you push your hand into them while you are petting him, or if it is rolled into a ball, and its quills are raised in defense. Also only if you are dumb enough to pet them backwards, which would be very uncomfotable for both the handlr and the hedgehog.
Hedgehog spikes really aren't as sharp as they look. They can be prickly at the ends and if you randomly touch it, but if it's a tame hedgehog, the quills will lay themselves down, so it won't hurt to pet or pick up a hedgehog.
They aren't very sharp. They will poke you, but don't cut you.
VFTs do not have quills. The marginal "teeth" are not rigid. They function to block the exit of the trapped insect during the slow phase of the traps' closing where the margins seal to hold the digestive juices.
