To them it's their way of life. It's not like they go home and and have built-in bathtubs.

Rabbits don't bathe in dirt, really. Some animals take dirt baths, like sparrows for example. Rabbits make burrows in the dirt to live in, and they lie down in dirt on hot days because the dirt is cool, but they don't bathe in dirt.

Rabbits groom by licking themselves and each other.
