Rwandan refugees go to their neighboring countries, for example Zaire and Uganda. Burundi is not a safe place for refugees.
Who looks after refugees depends in part on which country the refugees are located in. Often the local government provides at least some services for refugees. Organizations such as the International Red Cross also work to feed and care for refugees.
Australia is regarded as a very safe and wealthy country. Refugees come from places where they are suppressed or persecuted for their religion or political views, or where they suffer extreme hardship and poverty.
They go there by boat.
Leaving their country to go to another
They usually go to the refuge on crowed trucks or walk to the refuge
Refugees get away from their country because they are in fear of being persecuted on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion. They go to a different country because they are scared!

you'll have no idea, because the boats they're on doesn't have anything like radio navigation. they dunno where they are going to, all they wish is to get to a safe country. on these boats, u might want to go to china but went to India instead, you never know
Refugees are going through a lot and don't live a normal life like we do. Imagine having war in your country and know it is not safe enough to stay. You want to go to another country for protection but you need to be a citizen. But that takes a long wait and you don't have a place to stay. Some refugees skip the long wait and come on illegal boats or planes. These people are Illegal Immigrants and Refugees at the same time. Those that come in illegal boats or planes stay in a place called a Detention Centre. They wait there a long time and wait to hear what the Government will do with them. Imagine being a person like that.
Well, refugees migrate because refugees are banned for a certain country. For an example, a boy called Jason is banned from the Philippines. "We don't want you here! Pack up and go somewhere else!" The government said. So, the whole story means that Jason's family isn't allowed in the Philippines. Refugees migrate because they have to! They were forced to move from a country from another. They got no choice than to go to prison or die and kill themselves. So Jason packed up and flew to India. And he enjoyed living in India. See? When refugees migrate? This is the meaning.
