You absolutely have to go to an accredited college to become a registered nurse. If you do not, you will not be able to sit for NCLEX registration exams.
Answer Registered Nurses have tons of paper work to do. My suggestion to you would be to go to a seminar for a Nursing School and see just exactly what is required from a Registered Nurse and take it from there.
Both are registered nurses with the BSN having a higher degree, and thus a more well rounded education. While both go through a very intensive program, hospitals will be preferring nurses with the bachelor's degree especially in the future. The higher the degree the better when it comes to advancement, and marketability within the field.
