Roosters always want to mate. Always.
no, they mate with roosters,(male chicken)
Chickens are known as females. Roosters are known as males. Roosters have that giant tale which I believe attracts the mate.
Yes Hens and roosters mate to fertilize the eggs the hen produces
Yes.
No. Regular sized roosters can mate with Bantam hens, and Bantam roosters can mate with regular sized hens. The resulting offspring will be a small to medium sized chicken.

No. Both male chickens (roosters) and female chickens (hens) have cloacas, a combination of sexual and excretory organs. Chickens mate by positioning their cloacas together, and the male immediately dumps sperm into the female. *There is a small internal bump where the rooster's sperm is released, called a papilla.
For adult chickens, roosters are generally a bit bigger, and have longer, showier tail feathers. You can also tell by behavior. Roosters will tend to be more commanding, and will usually avoid other roosters if they have enough space and there are enough hens, or else fight with them if the space is too small or there are not enough hens. They can also often be observed jumping on hens' backs to mate.
There is no reason why you should unless the rooster is overly aggressive toward the hens. Roosters protect the flock and of course mate with the hens so unless you have an objection to fertilized eggs, then allow the rooster to be with his flock. Roosters are sociable creatures and should be allowed to mingle with the other birds.
There are many sites that explain how chickens mate however actual pictures are few and difficult to find The link here has a video. [I'm a n00b there is no link A DURR]
Not at all. Chickens do not need to mate to lay eggs, but they must mate in order for these eggs to be fertile, i.e. able to hatch into chicks.
You cannot train a rooster to stop mating with the hens. You can caponize the rooster by removing the testes and he will lose interest in mating. Chickens don't train really well and trying to train then not to do something instinctive is not going to work.
