Mangrove crabs feed on phytoplankton as well as zooplankton. Their real name is Scylla serrata and they are often called mud crabs in addition to mangrove crabs.

Hairs on crabs are actually called 'setae' which are sensory hairs found on the exoskeleton, these help the crab's senses, i supposed you could class them as whiskers however, this is their official name.
